Ashley A. Plotkin
Ashley Plotkin is a 2022 cum laude graduate from the University of Miami School of Law, where, as a result of her academic performance, she was the recipient of a Dean's Merit Full Tuition Scholarship. Before law school, Ms. Plotkin worked as an IT Project Manager for the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where she oversaw multiple capital expenditure projects. While in law school, Ms. Plotkin volunteered her time to assist several organizations. She interned at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where she helped low-income Californians with state civil litigation, including consumer fraud and disability matters. She also volunteered for the UCLA Voting Rights Project, where she assisted in state and federal voting rights litigation. As a student-attorney at the University of Miami Immigration Clinic, Ms. Plotkin represented clients in administrative proceedings and won a client’s release from immigration detention.
